Yes, It passed!!!!!

Thank you to each of you for voicing your opinion.  The pressure that was applied to the Legislature paid off.

The Volunteer Exemption bill was the last heard on Saturday night and we have Senator Steinberg to thank.  He pushed the bill and Sen. Dave Cox agreed how important the bill was for this region.

Now, the goal is for the Governor to sign the legislation into law.  I will make phone calls tomorrow to ensure his signature.  I encourage each of you to contact the Governor’s office in support of AB 2537.

Also, please send either a thank you letter or verbal thank you to Senator Steinberg’s office  651-4006, senator.steinberg@senate.ca.gov  and Senator Cox’s office, 651-4001, senator.cox@sen.ca.gov.
