Summer Solstice Dinner & Auction – Saturday, June 24, 2017
Thank you sponsors, guests and volunteers for making the 3rd annual Summer Solstice Dinner & Auction a success!
250 guests and 40 volunteers came together on Saturday, June 24, 2017 to support Sacramento’s greatest recreational and natural civic amenity, the American River Parkway. Over $90,000 was raised with proceeds benefiting American River Parkway Foundation programs aimed at maintaining and improving the Parkway.
A portion of the Summer Solstice proceeds will benefit the American River Parkway Foundation’s outdoor education programs at the Campfire Outdoor Educational Site. The Parkway Foundation manages maintenance and improvements to the site in River Bend Park to bring under-served youth to the American River Parkway. In 2016, 3,000 youth across Sacramento County experienced the Parkway through the Campfire Outdoor Educational Site.
Come dressed in white for a Summer Solstice celebration on the American River Parkway! Support the American River Parkway Foundation on Saturday, June 24th at William B. Pond Recreation Area.
