Saturday April 22nd

American River Parkway Foundation Pups in the Park

Day-Of Instructions

Dress up your dog and join the American River Parkway Foundation for a walk on the Parkway! Enjoy a 2-mile stroll along Parkway trails followed by an Earth Day celebration complete with a costume contest, a food truck, vendors, pet adoptions and more.

Proceeds benefit the Parkway Foundation's Pups in the Park program, providing "Mutt Mitt" dog waste removal bags at 14 stations along the American River Parkway, which ensures bacteria and toxins from pet waste do not pollute our waterways. In 2016, the Parkway Foundation purchased 60,000 "Mutt Mitts" to be placed along the Parkway!
