The Sacramento Running Association and ARPF are proud to partner on the fourth annual Run the Parkway event, the Official Training Run of the California International Marathon.

Start Time: 7:30am – Half Marathon & 20-Mile
7:35am – Untimed Nature Walk

Proceeds from Run the Parkway benefit ARPF to help further our mission to support the preservation and enjoyment of the Parkway. Run the Parkway is Sacramento’s only running event that 100% benefits the American River Parkway Foundation!

 

We need volunteers to help with this event!

Run the Parkway requires a team of volunteers to make this rewarding fundraising event come together. Register to volunteer for one of the jobs below:

  • Course Marshall
    Direct vehicle traffic and runners to ensure the safety of all participants and that runners remain on course on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 6:45 am to 11:15 am at various locations and turns along the race course (to be assigned).
  • Food Court Attendant
    Help distribute food to race participants on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Hagan Community Park in Rancho Cordova.
  • Parking Attendant
    Help race participants navigate to designated parking locations on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 5:30 am to 7:30 am at Hagan Community Park in Rancho Cordova. Must be 16+ years old.
  • Start Line
    Put up start line arch, banners, and flags; move tables and fencing; and assist with other logistics on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 5:30 am to 8:00 am at Hagan Community Park in Rancho Cordova. Must be 16+ years old.
