Thank you for your consideration in helping to spread the word about the Great American River Clean-Up (GARCU) on Saturday, September 17. There are more than 20 locations this year throughout the 23-mile stretch of the Parkway and into the Folsom Lake State Recreation Area. This important event helps reduce blight and decrease the amount of pollution in the river and the environment by removing 20,000-25,000 pounds of trash and debris.

GARCU is held in conjunction with California Coastal Cleanup and is one of hundreds of events across the state on September 17.

We’re aiming to surpass 1,ooo volunteers and could use your help reaching that goal.
