Support Your American River Parkway!
We believe volunteers are essential to the health of the American River Parkway. No matter your age or skill set, the American River Parkway Foundation has a role for you.
Volunteering is also healthy for YOU! Whether you’re volunteering to give back to the community, connect with nature, or to stay active, you will find volunteering with the Parkway Foundation both challenging and rewarding.
The Parkway Foundation offers diverse, fun, and educational volunteer opportunities for individuals, families, corporate groups, community groups, student projects, scout groups, school groups, and more.

How Your Time Helps the American River Parkway
The American River Parkway is much more than 4,800 acres; it is a public health asset, a wildlife corridor, an outdoor classroom, and a space for community. The American River Parkway Foundation deploys more than 5,000 volunteers each year to remove trash and invasive plants, clear trails, and repair park infrastructure, ensuring the Parkway is accessible, environmentally healthy and enjoyment for all.
