Explore the Park(way) Challenge
The American River Parkway is over 4,800 acres of land spread over 23 miles of parkway. Each month we will present a challenge to help you explore all 4,800 acres. The challenge is easy to participate in, you only need a way to take photos (a phone will work perfectly) and an adventurous spirit! Follow our social media accounts or check back on this page to see the featured park of the month.
We will select participants of our challenge each month to win a grab bag prize. Follow the 2 rules below to participate!
- Travel at least 2 miles of the park of the month.
- Take 3 selfies at different locations (announced on social media and website)
Please email challenge@arpf.org with Subject: (Month) Challenge. Be sure to include: full name, mailing address (for the prize), your 3 selfies from the locations, and a screenshot or map of your route.
