Trash Clean-Up on the American River Parkway
Our goal is to one day have zero pounds of trash to pick up on the Parkway! Until then, we invite the community to join our year-round cleanups. These efforts are essential for removing trash and debris from the Parkway, which allows the environment to heal and prevents pollutants from entering the ecosystem and waterways.

If you spot a large collection of trash on the trails, like an abandoned campsite or illegally dumped items, please contact 311.
