Mark your calendars for the American River Parkway Foundation’s Howlin’ on the Parkway, the ultimate Howl-o-ween event for you and your furry friends on October 12th  from 9am-12pm! Dress to impress (or drool!) at our dog costume contest, take a leisurely stroll with your pup through the scenic William B. Pond Park and top off the day with a delicious beverage and yummy food for you and your furry friends!
Don’t miss out on this howlin’ good time and join us for an unforgettable celebration at the American River Parkway Foundation’s Howlin’ on the Parkway. Proceeds benefit the Parkway Foundation’s Pups in the Park program. Pups in the Park provides “Mutt Mitt” dog waste removal bags at 20 stations along the American River Parkway, which ensures bacteria and toxins from pet waste do not pollute our waterways. By using these handy bags, responsible dog owners like you help prevent over 8 tons of dog waste from entering our environment and waterways each year.
