GARCU is the largest cleanup event hosted by the American River Parkway Foundation. It occurs on California Coastal Cleanup Day in collaboration with the California Coastal Commission. Every year, we invite the community to participate in this statewide cleanup, which focuses on local beaches, lakes, and waterways. Our sponsors play a crucial role in our volunteer efforts by providing supplies such as trash bags, gloves, first aid kits, water, and snacks.
